Personal Statement

I joined the Strathclyde Business School as a Lecturer in Finance in July 2023. Before that, I was a PhD candidate in Finance at the University of Melbourne.

My primary research focus is on economic and financial history, political economy, and corporate finance. My work seeks to understand how frictions (e.g., politics, institutions, regulations, behaviours) affect corporate decisions and performances and how these effects evolve in the long run.
