Personal Statement

 

I'm a teaching assistant at the Strathclyde Institute for Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS). I have an honours degree in Chemistry, MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis, and a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Strathclyde University. My teaching covers the area of pharmaceutical analysis and formulation for undergraduate and postgraduate students. My research interests are in the area of enhancing solubility of low aqueous soluble drugs using amorphous formulations and HPLC/MS analysis. I supervise both MSc and undergraduate student projects and I am the lead teaching contact for the Strathclyde/ Shimadzu Centre of Excellence lab.
