Personal profile
Personal Statement
I am currently pursuing my PhD under the supervision of Dr. George (Zhen Chen) at the University of Strathclyde. My research interests are centered on leveraging artificial intelligence to achieve professional excellence in the built environment. Specifically, my research aims to develop a framework that enables architects to make informed design decisions through AI integration. I am deeply passionate about exploring the transformative potential of AI in architectural design.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Guilin University of Technology, where I graduated with honors and a first-class degree. This foundational education provided me with a comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles and design psychology. I further honed my expertise by completing a Master of Interior Design at the Royal College of Art in London in August 2024.
Throughout my academic career, I have participated in multiple research projects in both the UK and China. Additionally, my role as an architectural design assistant in Nanjing allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world design challenges, enhancing my project management and team collaboration skills.
My ultimate goal is to become a leading researcher or scholar in the field of architecture, specializing in the integration of AI with architectural practice and teaching it to the next generation.I am committed to advancing the discipline by developing innovative AI-driven solutions that can revolutionize architectural design processes.
