Personal Statement
I am a Chancellor’s Fellow in the Department of Management Science. Before that, I was working as a researcher in systems thinking in policy on sustainability at University College London. I gained a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney and a PhD in Operational Research/Management Science, focusing on hybrid health systems simulation modelling in controlling healthcare-associated infections, from the University of Strathclyde. My research interest lies in using simulation models, including system dynamics, discrete-event simulation, agent-based modelling, and hybrid models, to evaluate the impact of health and social care interventions and policies. I am particularly interested in how combining different types of models can bring new insights and values to support decision-making.
