Personal Statement

I am a Biochemistry Teaching Associate in the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS). 

I am involved in the China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) University of Strathclyde Undergraduate programme, teaching in Nanjing, China as well as at Strathclyde.

Research Interests

  • Decolonisation of the curriculum (Biochemistry/Pharmacology)
  • Student mental health and wellbeing
  • Atypical protein structure and function (IDPs and aggregating proteins)
  • The molecular basis of neurodegeneration
  • Mass spectrometry as a structural biology tool
