Personal Statement
Aikaterini (Katerina) Karamoutsou is a Teaching Associate at the University of Strathclyde. She earned a PhD in Marketing from the University of Leeds and she also holds an an MSc in Marketing and Communication, with a specialization in International Marketing, from Athens University of Economics and Business (Athens, Greece) and an undergraduate degree in Communication and Media from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Athens, Greece).
As a marketing researcher, Katerina focuses on strategic CSR, “greening” the organisation, sustainability and international business, political CSR, greenwashing and green advertising, international marketing & digitalisation, global strategic management, and green innovation.
Currently she is involved in teaching and assessing various modules at the undergraduate and postgraduate level (e.g. Marketing Research, Customer-led eMarketing, Understanding Consumers and Markets etc.) while also supervising students' dissertations.
Prior to earning her PhD, Katerina worked in the media and corporate communication sector in Greece.
