I am a teaching fellow in finance and since 2012 the undergraduate course director for finance (years 1-3). My focus is on creating an excellent learning experience for our students. Additionally I became MSc Finance course director in 2018. I have been nominated for the Teaching Excellence Awards in 2011, 2014, 2015, shortlisted in 2018 and nominated again in 2019. My main interests are in behavioural finance and international financial markets and I am a member of the European Finance Association (EFA) and a Higher Edication Academy Fellow (FHEA).
My teaching interests include behavioural finance, international finance, security analysis, micro finance, Islamic finance and financial regulation. I teach at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level and have experience not only in the delivery but also the development and design of new UG, PG, as well as long distance classes. I enjoy the interaction with our students from very diverse backgrounds and the challenge of adapting my teaching in response to the ever evolving financial markets.
