I am a member of the European Finance Association (EFA) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). At the 2023 SBS Teaching and Knowledge Exchange Awards I was nominated in the category: Effective and sustained contribution to the student learning experience.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests include behavioural finance, international finance, security analysis, micro finance, Islamic finance and financial regulation. I teach at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level and have experience not only in the delivery but also the development and design of new UG, PG, as well as long distance classes. I enjoy the interaction with our students from very diverse backgrounds and the challenge of adapting my teaching in response to the ever evolving financial markets.
