Personal Statement
I am a Teaching Fellow and Outreach Officer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I started my post in February 2022 after having completed both my Honours and PhD degrees also at Strathclyde.
As a Teaching Fellow, I mainly teach first and second year mathematics classes. This includes mathematics service classes, GA classes for engineering mathematics, and the Mathematics STEM Summer School. I also supervise final year Honours and MSc Data Analytics projects.
As the Outreach Officer, I actively deliver workshops at primary and secondary schools, colleges and within the university. These focus on showcasing the real world applications of mathematics and statistics, with the aim of encouraging students to pursue studying a science subject at university.
