I develop Sensing and Measurement technologies, with a focus on biomedical applications. I work on innovative vision tests to diagnose optic nerve and visual brain disorders. My work involves software development and clinical testing. My research focuses on visual acuity tests for infants, computer vision, virtual reality and motion tracking.
My background is in Physics and I completed a PhD in Intelligent Sensing and Measurement. My thesis focussed on magnetic droplet microfluidics and included experimental work on the actuation of drops with magnetic fields, image analysis and numerical methods.
I currently hold a Research Associate position at the Department for Biomedical Engineering.
