Personal profile
Personal Statement
I joined the University of Strathclyde in 2023 as a Teaching Associate in the Management Science Department. I primarily teach modules aimed at providing students with foundational knowledge to identify problems and make informed business decisions. I am keen on learning about various organisations and the challenges they face daily, which I can use as examples for students to apply the techniques they learn during their studies.
Additionally, I am interested in exploring pedagogical approaches to enhance students' learning experiences, particularly when dealing with complex concepts. I am also passionate about improving Staff Engagement with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) through interdisciplinary reading groups in Higher Education. I have published works on Knowledge Management, Supply Chain Optimisation, and Leadership, among other topics, and I am eager to collaborate on further research in these areas.
Outside of teaching, I act as a library representative for the department. In this role, I liaise between the department and the library, sharing information about new training opportunities offered by the library to students and staff, as well as facilitating requests for new academic subscriptions.
