Personal profile

Personal Statement

I'm a Research Associate involved in a project focusing on prostate cancer and mass spectrometry. I have experience in intrinsically disordered protein (neurodegeneration-linked proteins) which I plan to apply for the new project.

before joining the University of Strathclyde I moved to Sicily in 2017 and completed a PhD degree (2020) in chemical sciences at the University of Catania & CONSIGLIO NAZIONALE DELLE RICERCHE(CNR) (Italy) Funded by The INCIPIT(INnovative Life sCIence Phd Programme in South ITaly)-COFUND project co-funded by HORIZON 2020/Marie Sklodowska Curie. Moreover, both MSc (2016) and BSc (2012) in biochemistry were completed at The University of Kuwait were my research focused on proteins and the use of fluorescence spectroscopy and basic NMR for analysis.
