I am a PhD student at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (University of Strathclyde) working on modelling the impact of climate change on water resource potential using blue and green water footprint concept. the research intends to investigate climate modelling challenges in data scarce regions and investigate the spatial and temporal distribution of freshwater resources and its socio-economic impacts within the context of climate change with emphasis on vulnerability of water footprints components in relation to freshwater provisions levels i.e. (water available for human activities), through identifying scarcity hotspot in time and space at sub-catchment level where water conflicts could occur and its effects environmental sustainability freshwater resource and the critical hydrologic situations or dynamics for useful joint management of water footprint components for sustainability and enhanced policy decisions. The research is primarily focused in Sub-saharan Africa (Chad Basin). My other research interests are related to water and wastewater management, especially the utilisation of agro-based waste materials as adsorbents for sustainable lowcost wastewater treatments in developing countries
my research is supervised by Dr Douglas Bertram and Dr Chris White
