Personal Statement

Undertook Pre-Registration training at Ayr Hospital in 1992 and a basic grade pharmacist post at the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow. Moved to Inverclyde Hospital in 1998 as a clinical pharmacist. In 2001, became a Primary Care Pharmacist in Primary Care in Paisley. Joined the SIPBS staff in September 2007. Research interests lie in developing and implementing teaching and learning theories into practice (currently undertaking PhD in this area) and the pharmaceutical care of patients with cardiovascular disease.
