Personal Statement

I an a technician looking after a suite of analytical instruments within the Department of Chemical Engineering at Strathclyde.
I graduated as a Chemist from Strathclyde and worked in British Steels analytical Labs from 1985 to 1991 before returning to the university as a technician. As a technician I have undertaken many roles from maintenance and fabrication to demonstration and research.
My current role involves operating anylitical instruments covering the techniques of Spectroscopy, Chromatography and Thermogravimmetry.
