Personal profile

Personal Statement

I am a manufacturing engineer and researcher specialising in material forming and modelling, with a particular strong background in flexible forming technologies such as incremental sheet forming. My expertise covers experimental testing, analytical modelling, constitutive modelling, numerical simulation and microstructure characterisation of metals, polymers, and composites in forming processes. I focus on innovating forming technologies, as well as understanding and optimising the relationships between processing history, material behaviour, and product performance to improve the efficiency and quality of advanced forming technologies.

With over a decade of research experience, a PhD from the University of Nottingham, and PDRA experience at the University of Sheffield, I have published widely in leading journals and contributed to several patents, collaborating closely with academic and industrial partners in a range of research projects to advance forming technologies and the applications.
