Personal profile

Personal Statement

My research asks how state and non-state actors can develop mechanisms to fulfil the autonomy rights of, often marginalised populations, to redress health inequalities and filfil human rights and justice agendas. In particular, my doctoral thesis focused on sexual and reproductive health inequalities for young women and adolescent girls in displacement. Overall, I am interested in how international normative frameworks operate in practice for individuals with intersecting needs and how mechanisms can be developed to improve service delivery and programme design.
