Personal profile

Personal Statement

I am lecturer in economicsat the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. I am specialised in the development and application of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models for policy analysis. I am generally interested in regional macroeconomics and on the impact of regional policies on the wider economy.  I am currently focussed on the impact of energy, tourism, fiscal and trade policies. However, I am open to consider other applications.  I am also interested in developing CGE and regional macroeconomic models  to incorporate insignts from behavioural economics.  I am very happy to supervise suitably qualified PhD students in these areas; please get in touch if you want to discuss a potential research project.
