Personal Statement

George Palomino is currently an EdD candidate in Digital Technologies at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has completed the taught component of the programme (equivalent to a Master’s in Practitioner Research), with a focus on instructional design, technology-enhanced learning, digital media for learning, and advanced research methods.

He has held academic roles in Ireland and the United Kingdom, contributing to curriculum design, assessment, and pedagogy, alongside experience in digital learning initiatives, staff development, and the use of virtual learning environments. Alongside his doctoral studies, he lectures in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) on the Trinity International Foundation Programme at Marino Institute of Education in Dublin, supporting students preparing to enter higher education.
