Personal Statement
I have teaching commitments on the MPharm and PG degrees and I am the Course Drector for the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy. Until recently (Jan 2025) I also had a clinical commitment (0.3 wte) to the National Children's Psychiatric Unit based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
I also hold a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Nottingham (1997).
My doctorate from the Univ of Strathclyde was concerned with clinical information provision for lay persons in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (2010)
My research interests largely stem from my clinical work and experiance of Mental Health service delivery. I am also interested in developing the role of the (Community) pharmacy team within mental health service delivery.
I have recently become a registrant member of the GPhC Statutory Committee for Fitness To Practice (2024 -
I was designated a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutcal Society in 2019.
