Fiona Nimmo

Fiona has designed and delivered programmes of study across a wide range of disciplines in China, Italy, Greece, and the UK. This has included TESOL and Teacher Education programmes for the Italian Ministry of Education, Advanced English for Journalism courses for the Norwegian Institute of Journalism, and Academic Practice sessions for the Organisational and Staff Development Unit at the University of Strathclyde. Fiona also held the role of Module Co-ordinator at the University of Fuzhou, China, as part of an early innovative partnership programme with the University of Hertfordshire. In her current role, Fiona designs and delivers on a range of cross-Faculty EAP, ESP, Academic Practice and TESOL/Teacher Education courses.

Fiona has a keen interest in continuing professional development and holds a Cambridge DELTA, a Bachelor of Education, an MEd TESOL, and an MSc in Higher Education. She has presented and facilitated across a wide range of audiences, from home-based conferences to international keynote speaker. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a BALEAP assessor. Fiona is currently working toward a Doctorate in Education.
