Personal profile

Personal Statement

Originally from Spain, I completed a BSc in Chemistry in Universitat de Barcelona in 2017. I then moved to Glasgow to undertake a PhD in the School of Chemistry at the University of Glasgow, which I was awarded on 2021. My work during these years was focused on Single-Molecule Magnets using lanthanides, which are coordination molecules that combine metals with organic ligand and have magnetic properties at low temperatures. Afterwards, I moved to work on solid form screening programs to help identify potentially useful early-development drugs. In 2023 I started a post-doctoral research position to work on how to develop green methods to synthesise materials for gas separation.
