Personal profile
Personal Statement
I am a PhD research student in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde. My research focuses on harnesing AI technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability in horticultural crop production.
My work explores the application of advanced AI techniques, including machine learning and data-driven modelling, to support decision-making in horticulture and thereby to assist growers in optimizing productivity while promoting efficient and sustainable agricultural practices.
Through interdisciplinary research that bridges computer science and agricultural systems, I seek to contribute to innovative solutions to challenges in modern horticulture. I am particularly interested in translating AI research into practical tools that support precision agriculture and strengthen food production systems in the face of environmental and economic pressures.
