Personal Statement

I'm a PhD student at the Department of Marketing, University of Strathclyde. Further, I'm a lecturer at the Department of Marketing Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. I obtained B.Sc. in Marketing Management (Special) degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2011 and completed MBA at the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2015.

My research interests include consumer ethics, consumer culture, consumer identity, social media and social marketing.
