- Research and Development Engineer in the Digital Grids team at PNDC working on projects with focus on innovative power system protection and automation solutions in digital substations to accelerate smart, green power system targets.
- Experienced (12 years) with the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India, with expertise in engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of EHVAC substations. Member of the team that commissioned unmanned control rooms, which involved transition of substation operation from conventional to IEC 61850 based digital schemes and remote operation from National Transmission Asset Management Centre. Trained, certified and experienced in installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of substation automation system using IEC 61850 including associated protection and control schemes.
- Research interests include power system stability analysis, automation and self-healing of digital grids and adaptive System Protection Schemes for green smart grid.
