Personal Statement

I am a specialty registrar in trauma and orthopaedic surgery currently undertaking a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.  I graduated from medical school at the University of Dundee in 2008 and have worked as a medical doctor since then, and training as an orthopaedic surgeon since 2010.

My research interests include

  • knee instability
  • hip and knee arthroplasty
  • computer aided orthopaedic surgery
  • ERAS (early rehabilitation after surgery).
