Personal profile

Personal Statement

I joined the University of Strathclyde as a Teaching Associate in Psychology in 2022.

I currently teach across the BA Psychology undergraduate programme, as well as modules on the BSc Psychology & Councelling course. I also supervise student projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate research level.

My research focuses on the Psychology of Education, with a particular interest in how Virtual Reality (VR) can be leveraged as a pedagogical tool to enhance learning outcomes, perspective-taking, and empathy. I have extensively worked on integrating VR into teaching methodologies to improve the student learning experience.

Additionally, I am involved in researching the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. My work examines how people evaluate and integrate AI generated content into existing schemas, and what ramification this has for applied practice in educational settings.
