Personal profile
Personal Statement
I joined the Law School in 2019 as a Postgraduate Researcher and recipient of a Strathclyde Excellence Studentship. My PhD project explores women's participation in transitional justice processes using critical feminist and legal geographical methodologies.
Before commencing PhD studies, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Dundee, graduating with First Class Honours in LLB Scots Law with French in 2013. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an LLM in Human Rights Law, receiving a Master with Disctinction. I received a number of prizes for academic excellence throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
I also have experience in non-academic research, having previously worked as a Research and Policy Officer at the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations. In this role, I researched issues relating to Scottish social housing policy and human rights.
