Personal Statement

My research is primarily focused on media trust and news consumption, adopting both qualitative and quantitative methods, including survey analysis and in-depth interviews. I was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, at the University of Oxford, working on the Trust in News Project. I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, and was Visiting research student at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. My research interests also include digital media & elections and Brazilian politics.
