Personal Statement

Biwesh Neupane joined the University of Strathclyde in January 2024 as a Senior Lecturer in Finance (Chancellors' Fellow in Sustainable Finance). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Birmingham. He obtained his PhD in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has also completed PGCert in Higher Education and he is a Fellow of Advance HE (previously HEA).

Research Interests

His research interests include sustainable finance, climate finance, international investments, institutional investors, emerging markets finance, corporate governance, trading behaviour, corporate bond markets, and initial public offerings.
