Personal Statement

I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the Department of Management Science. I joined Strathclyde in Jan 2019 as a Lecturer. Before that I was working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the University of Waterloo, Canada. I received the BE degree in automation from Zhejiang University, China, and the PhD degree in industrial engineering from City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. My rsearch interests include risk & reliability analysis, intelligent asset management, decision making under uncertainty, and data analytics. I focus on developing new methods to solve real problems, with applications in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, utility (water, transportation, infrastructure), and energy.
