Personal profile

Personal Statement

I am a Chancellor's Fellow (previously was a Lecturer) in the Department of Management Science. Before that I was working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in University of Waterloo, Canada. I received the B.S. degree in automation from Zhejiang University, China in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong in 2017. My research interests include risk & reliability analysis, intelligent maintenance management, decision making under uncertainty, and data analytics. I focus on developing new methods to solve real problems, with applications in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, utility (water, transportation, infrastructure), energy, and fintech.
