Research Interests

As a specialist in particle technology and pharmaceutical engineering, my research integrates advanced process modelling with experimental techniques to improve drug substance and drug product manufacturing for oral solid dosage forms. A central theme of my work is bridging academic research and industrial application to foster collaborations that drive innovation in pharmaceutical processes.

I am currently a Research Fellow in Digital Drug Product Development, where I develop and apply hybrid mechanistic, empirical, and data-driven models to better understand and optimise powder-based manufacturing processes. My research interests include particle agglomeration, powder feeding, and mixing, with particular expertise in engineering active pharmaceutical ingredient properties at the drug substance–drug product interface. At present, my current focus is on advancing spherical agglomeration technology and accelerating the adoption of model-driven tools to support continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory science.
