Personal Statement

I joined the University in 2014 and currently I am a Research Assistant at the Energy Systems Research Unit (ESRU).  My role within the team largely lies in software development, and applying developments in other fields to expand and improve the functionality of building simulation.

Research Interests

My research interests centre around building simulation.  Particular areas of focus include optimisation, CFD, occupant behaviour and automation.

Expertise & Capabilities

During the course of my research I have developed diverse expertise in computer programming.  This allows me to utilise the vast computing resources available to research communities today in an efficient and versatile manner, in order to accomplish my research goals.  Furthermore it allows me to apply my research outcomes in a practical sense, creating programs that leverage building simulation to produce useful outcomes.
