Research Interests

Current PhD student at the University of Strathclyde. My research is concerned with the relationship between self-branding in an online context and the creation of masculinities, namely 'new' and under-researched masculinities.

My research interests include social media, cultural studies, gender studies, film and literature. In 2017 I completed an MSc by Research with the University of Edinburgh, producing a dissertation titled 'Investigating the Hive Mind: The Power of Online Crowds'
