Personal Statement

I believe it is our responsibility as members of the human race to contribute to the advancement of humanity at every level. It is in this pursuit that I began my career within science, knowing that the discoveries and applications of the work promoted throughout the various scientific disciplines has allowed us to live healthier, longer and more complete lives. As science has become more interdisciplinary, I sought to ensure that my own work would be able to contribute to multiple fields and have guided both my education and experience towards using chemistry to benefit biology. In this context, I have joined the growing number of scientists within the field of Chemical Biology and look forward to the advancements that my work will produce.
