Personal profile

Personal Statement

Dr Aaron M. Jensen has a multi-disciplinary professional and educational background. In his current role as a Research Fellow in Science Education at Trinity College Dublin, he works on two European Commission-funded research and innovation projects relating to public and stakeholder engagement. He is the evaluator for spaceEU (space-eu.org), which aims to encourage youth towards space careers and a researcher on QUEST (questproject.eu), which aims to improve quality and effectiveness in science communication. Beyond his current role, Aaron is a co-founder of a global technology company (qualiaanalytics.org) specialising in research process automation for government departments, agencies and public engagement institutions. He has extensive research experience with large national and multi-national research projects as a co-investigator, including Ireland's Science Barometer 2020 (funded by Science Foundation Ireland) and the Cosmic Vision 2019 (funded by European Space Agency). Along with a master’s degree in marketing and PhD in entrepreneurship, Aaron’s unique perspective helps bridge the divides between innovation, commercialisation and science communication.
