The Doctor of Engineering in Medical Devices is a postgraduate research degree providing engineers and physical scientists with full research training at the life sciences interface (LSI) that is relevant to medical devices and related materials/technologies. The training programme equips students with the basic knowledge and terminology in medicine and current life science subjects to allow them to explore LSI topics in their own research project with direction from their supervisor.
