The new Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) programme operated by the Universities of Strathclyde and Glasgow aims to provide highly skilled scientists for academia, policy and industry and support the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) mission to further scientific knowledge for economic growth, wealth and job creation – improving the quality of life in the UK and beyond.
At Strathclyde the programme, which is supported by the BBSRC as part of a £67 million investment in postgraduate training across the UK, focusses on research expertise present in the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS).
