Innovative technologies to support and enhance brain health are growing as fast as the changing needs of those at risk of or with dementia. However, technological growth and people’s needs have not been well aligned to date. For such new technologies to effectively meet such needs, personalised approaches to assessment and assistance are needed. These require interdisciplinary efforts through which knowledge on brain health across the lifespan and on healthcare technologies is combined. Scotland is a hub of technological innovation. This workshop brought this community together who exchanged ideas and proposed strategies. more that 90 people registered and over 50 attended this 2-day event which lead to the creation of Special Interest Group on Technologies for Brain Health and Dementia Prevention and will yield a white paper to pave the way towards future collaborations in Scotland.
