Narrative
Professor Antony and colleagues have developed a Six Sigma Readiness Index (SSRI) model as well as customised frameworks for the implementation of Six Sigma in Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs), service organisations and more recently higher education. The research into the Process Excellence (PE) methodologies such as Six Sigma (more recently named as Lean Six Sigma) has resulted in the delivery of training program followed by coaching and mentoring of projects in over 100 organisations in the UK and abroad. Over 300 delegates have attended the training led by Professor Antony over the last 4 years and over 30 projects completed which have resulted in savings to the bottom-line, improved productivity, reduced costs of poor quality and an increased awareness of LSS in Scottish businesses in general.Impact status | Open |
