Description
Data collected during my EngD project using the US system as detailed in my thesis ("Monitoring of Incremental Rotary Forming"). This represents the entirety of raw data, which, coupled with the code in my thesis will allow reproduction of my results. The data was collected in .tdms format using a Labview VI.
Series EN trials were carried out to measure noise levels in the development of the system.
Series EP trials carried out to guide the choice of operational parameters in the development of the system.
Series F trials looked at laminar cracking in shear-spin-flow forming.
Series G trials looked at force and contact behaviour in flow forming.
Series H trials looked at contact and thickness in spinning.
Series I trials looked at force and contact behaviour in shear-spin-flow forming.
The data are accompanied by handwritten notes explicating the activity in the trials. Further information is given in the thesis itself.
The data collected is open access. However the tooling geometry is confidential and therefore not included.
