System Frequency Response (SFR) Demonstrator

Dataset

Description

The System Frequency Response (SFR) Demonstrator was a tool developed at Strathclyde for conceptual demonstration of a power system’s frequency behaviour during disturbances under different scenarios (e.g. different demand levels, overall system inertias, sizes of loss of generation, etc.). The tool was developed as part of the Enhanced Frequency Control Capability (EFCC) project and was demonstrated in the project’s dissemination event in Glasgow, 2017.
The tool was developed using MATLAB and Simulink (Version 2015b). To use the tool, run "SFR_Demo_GUI.m" using MATLAB.
