Replication data for Ideologues, Partisans and Loyalists: cabinet ministers and social welfare reform in parliamentary democracies

These are the replication data for the article and the book "Ideologues, Partisans and Loyalists: cabinet ministers and social reform in parliamentary demorcracies". The data on ministerial types are all originally coded by the author. The control variables as well as the dependent variables are from various public sources as described in the paper. The format of the data are by country/year, spanning from 1945 to 2013 for 18 Parliamentary democracies. Two files are made available: the original data and the replication code in a do file. The data are available in three formats: Stata 15, Stata 11/12 and Excel. The do file is in Stata as well as in rich text format.
