Description
The following dataset contains a 2D PZFlex model utilised to investigated three different types of quarter-wavelength matching. The three different types investigated are: geometric mean, Souquet and Desilet.
The model compares the reflection and transmission of acoustic waves through acoustic boundaries between materials of calculated acoustic impedances in line with one of the investigated types. The datasets can be post processed to obtain the relative reflection and transmission coefficients for each of the respective types.
The dataset results show that the geometric mean type is the most suitable for use within PZFlex.
