Description

The data set contains four excel files, two jpg images and an autoCAD drawing; all relate to experimental data to published in a paper titled "Preparation and functionalisation of silver nanoparticles in a lab-on-a-chip for colourimetric lectin detection". Further experimental details are given in the paper.

"DLS size.xlsx" contains data from DLS sizing data comparing nanoparticles compared in the microfluidics and in a batch synthesis. "DLS zeta.xlsx" contains similar data but comparing the zeta potential of batch prepared nanoparticles with microfluidic prepared and functionalised particles. "extinction chart.xlsx" contains data comparing extinction spectra of microfluidic prepared nanoparticles with those prepared in a batch synthesis. "galactose,_glucose_and_blank_w_50_nM_ConA.xlsx" contains data relating to the detection of Concanavalin A in a microfluidic device. Extinction spectra are given for samples with galactose nanoparticles with 50 nM ConA, glucose nanoparticles with 50 nM ConA and glucose particles with no ConA. "Fluorescence_image_1.jpg" and "Fluorescence_image_2.jpg" are unprocessed fluorescence images used to demonstrate mixing in the microfluidic device.
"Lectin detection.dwg" is the autoCAD drawing file used in producing the photomask for production of the device.
