What is the data: The data is responses to a survey aimed at investigating designers' attitudes toward the use of text-to-image AI in conceptual design which consists of 12 questions. It was created based on the innovation-decision process theory.
How it was collected: The data was collected from 39 respondents through Microsoft Form during 19-30 June 2023. Respondents were students and staff at the University of Strathclyde and Thai universities, architects, product designers, and graphic designers from both private and public sectors.
What it has been used for: The data has been used for user analysis to understand the needs and concerns regarding AI in conceptual design. It can be used as supplement data for AI developers to develop algorithms.
