Novel cementitious materials: thermal properties and carbon footprint assessment compared to Portland cement

Dataset

Description

Data set of results, experimental methods and materials for the project above and related publications.
The dataset includes experimental evidence of novel building materials developed. Results include mineral characterisation by diffractrogram and electron microscopy imaging (XRD excel files and SEM images), physical and mechanical characterisation (compressive strength and porosity files), heat of hydration by means of calorimetry measurements (heat hydration excel files), thermal analysis and also the investigation of environmental impact (gas emission excel files).
Metadata are collected and fully presented in a journal article recently submitted and awaiting for acceptance and publication.

Two year moratorium on access has been applied as data supports a Doctoral Thesis. Moratorium end date: 04.06.2020.
An extension for a further three years has been requested on this data. The Moratorium on this thesis will now expire on 4th June 2023
