IPC 2015 abstract on red MQW nanomembrane downconverter for visible light communication



The data created was used for the IEEE photonic conference (2015) abstract entitled 'Red multi-quantum well nanomembrane downconverter for visible light communication'. Fig 1b plots the output power of resulting red-emitting hybrid LEDs (with different sizes of the underlying InGaN micro sized LEDs) as a function of injected current. Fig 2c plots the bit error rate (BER) as a function of detected optical power for 3 different data rates (the modulation scheme used being on-off keying, OOK) of a red-emitting nanomembrane bonded to a sapphire lens that is remotely pumped with a modulated 450nm laser diode.
