EEM 2017 Wind Power Forecasting Competition: Competition Data and Code used by the Winning Team

Dataset

Description

This dataset comprises data from the Wind Power Forecasting Competition run in conjunction with the 14th International Conference on the European Energy Market, as well as the code (in R) and entries generated by the winning team.

Competition Data includes the 1-year of training data (wind power generation and weather data) provided by the competition organisers, and competition period input data. Results issued by the organisers are also included. Weather data is from GFS (see link).

The code comprises scripts used for model selection, model fitting, and producing entries for the competition.
