Description

A video-rate standing wave movie of the bottom half of a red blood cell membrane.

A full 1000 frame raw movie of a standing wave red blood cell membrane which has been fluorescently stained with DiI. This show the bottom half of a red blood cell which is close to the mirror and captures the rapid membrane fluctuation at better than video-rate. The raw SW movie which has a playback speed of 10 frames per second and has undergone JPEG compression.
