This supplementary file contains the data collected during investigation of the viricidal efficacy of a 405-nm environmental decontamination system for inactivation of bacteriophage phi6 as a surrogate for SARS-CoV-2.
The file contains emission spectra data which was recorded using a spectrometer and collected for the purposes of providing an optical characterisation of each 405-nm light source employed during the investigation.
The file additionally contains the datasets collected from 405-nm light inactivation testing of bacteriophage phi6, which are presented in the format of raw bacteriophage counts recorded for bacteriophage phi6 in both SM buffer and artificial human saliva at both high and low seeding densities following exposure to 405-nm light. This data was collected to demonstrate the efficacy of inactivation of bacteriophage phi6 over extended exposure periods.
Complete datasets contain non-confidential information.
The raw data presented within this file was stored in Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis of the data was performed using Minitab statistical software.
Data was gathered between March 2022 and February 2023.
This data was generated with intended use for both journal publication and inclusion in a PhD thesis.
